Daheping Township
Daheping township is located in the north of Yuanling County, connecting qijiaping · Qinglang in the East, Beirong in the south, Jiemuxi in the west, and the fire site in the north, 84 km away from the county. Daheping township has a total area of 239 square kilometers (in 2017). The village is located in the humid monsoon climate zone of middle subtropical zone, with mild climate and four distinct seasons. The villagers have the habit of raising pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens and ducks. "Daheping black pig" is the key brand of the township's breeding industry. Piglets are sold to counties and cities in Western Hunan and Hubei, enjoying a long reputation. The forest produces Chenshan, pine and nanmu, and there are gold, silver, copper, iron and other resources underground.
