Heping Street, belonging to Gaobeidian City, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Gaobeidian City, adjacent to Dongsheng Street in the East, Dingxing County in the south, Laishui County in the West and Juncheng street in the north. In 1958, Gaobeidian commune was established. In 1965, it was changed into Gaobeidian town. In 1996, it was changed into Heping Street. As of June 2020, Heping Street has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 17 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 36 Heping Road.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Heping Street was 156 million yuan, an increase of 8.5% over the previous year, and the total industrial output value was 5.4 billion yuan.
Historical evolution
In 1958, Gaobeidian commune was established.
In January 1962, three communes, Qiao Liufan, Yang MANSA and Zhang batun, were established.
In 1965, it was changed into Gaobeidian town.
In 1958, Zhuoxian County, Xincheng County, Laishui county and Xiongxian county were merged into Zhuoxian County, and the county government was stationed in Gaobeidian town.
In December 1961, the organizational system of Xincheng County was restored to be the residence of the county government.
In 1966, the county people's government moved to the new town.
In November 1969, the county government moved back to Gaobeidian town.

cultural relics and historic sites
Ligezhuang Han Dynasty site, located in the south of Ligezhuang village, Heping Street, covers an area of 70000 square meters. The unearthed cultural relics are exposed in the north slope of the borrow pit. There are gray pottery urn, red pottery kettle with sand, large-scale tiles, special-shaped bricks, large gray pottery urn and iron arrowhead with "Dafu" stamp, sanniaochaofeng steel fumigation stove cover, an ancient well and several gray Kang, gray soil and red burnt soil. There is a small tile kiln not far from Gujing. There are still some tiles in the kiln. Brick and tile fragments of the Han Dynasty and later can be seen on the ground from the site to Ligezhuang village.
The Warring States and Han Dynasty hoard and site of sanzhangxinzhuang is located in sanzhangxinzhuang village, Heping Street. In a hoard, unearthed cultural relics include large-scale gray pottery base, gray pottery tripod round bottom pot, gray pottery pot and red pottery pot with sand. In addition, three legged iron tripod and iron pot with chain were unearthed in an ancient well. On the top of the well filling, there were chicken legs and crab glazed small pot. In the west of the village, more than 30 pieces of pottery were unearthed in an ancient well. The decorative patterns of the pots are mostly thick rope and thin rope patterns, and a few basket patterns.
The northern tombs and sites of the Warring States period are located in the north of the brick and tile factory in beizhongcun, Heping Street, covering an area of 60000 square meters. They were discovered by the brick factory's emissary. The unearthed utensils include sharp head knife coins, red pottery cauldrons with sand, grey pottery beans, bronze arrowheads, and urn coffins. 80 cm from the surface of the earth is a later tomb group. The unearthed cultural relics include porcelain bowls and urn with copper coins. The earliest copper coin is Kaiyuan Tongbao, and the rest are Northern Song Dynasty coins. At the same time, there are Liao Dynasty porcelain bowls, which are often found in this area. They are beige glazed, gray and thick in color, much like those burned in Longquan Wu cellar.
The tombs and sites of the Warring States period in northern China are located in sanzhang village, Heping Street. The tombs of the Han Dynasty were discovered by the brick factory. Most of them were destroyed, with pieces of pottery and bricks everywhere. Some of the tombs, half of which are still in soil, belong to small brick chamber tombs. Under the dead circle of the masonry structure, the tomb is rectangular. The collection includes copper ribbon ornaments and baht coins, as well as some thinner red pottery pieces. Six pots of different sizes were collected. In the early years, a large brick chamber Tomb of the Han Dynasty was found here. The villagers took the bricks from the tomb and built the wall. There are pottery buildings and terracotta figures in the unearthed relics, which have been lost in early years. One of the surviving gray pottery rectangular uncovered pottery boxes is also incomplete.
Nanhu manor site of Yuan Dynasty is located in Nanhu village, Heping Street (formerly known as Nanhu Ben post, where Huben army was stationed at the time of occupation). Under the whole village and part of the cultivated land outside the village are ruins. Porcelain alone includes seven pits. Southern kilns include Yingqing, Shufu egg white, Longquan green glaze and Hutian kiln. Northern kilns include Cizhou kiln, Dingyao kiln and Jun kiln, with Jun kiln porcelain being the most.
