Chengui town is subordinate to Daye City, Hubei Province. It is located in the middle of Daye City with 114 ° 43 ′ - 114 ° 49 ′ E and 30 ° 03 ′ - 35 ° 30 ′ n. it connects Jinhu street of Daye City in the East, liurenba town in the south, Lingxiang town in the West, Mingshan Township and Jinshandian town in the north. In 2011, Chengui town ranked second among the top 100 towns in Hubei Province. In July 2013, it was listed in the provincial "four modernizations synchronization" demonstration Township pilot by Hubei provincial government. In 2012, the local fiscal revenue was 345 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 10282 yuan.
Famous scenic spots in Chengui town include Xiaolei mountain, Tiantai Mountain, daquangou, etc. In October 2019, Chen Guizhen was selected as one of the "Top 1000 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2019".
History of construction
Chengui town is named after Chengui village. In the fifth year of Qiande (967) of the Northern Song Dynasty, Daye county was established, which was divided into four townships: Yongfeng, Xuanhua, Anchang and Sihui.
In 1932, Daye county was divided into ten districts with six fortresses. Chen Gui belonged to xiaohongbao, the Sixth District.
Around the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946), Daye county was divided into three districts, 50 townships and three towns, and Hongxiang was under Chen Gui.
In the early days of liberation, it belonged to Changling district.
In 1950, the Township People's government was established in Daye county. Chengui belongs to Chengui Township in Changling District, and the township government is located in Chengui town.
In 1958, the people's commune was established. Chengui town belongs to Chengui commune.
In 1959, Chen Gui commune was transformed into a mining area, and the district government was located in Chen Gui.
In 1975, Chen Gui withdrew from the mining area and changed the four communes of Chen Gui, Shangluo, Nanshan and Kuangshan into mining communes.
In 1984, Kuangshan commune was changed into Kuangshan township.
In 1989, Kuangshan township was changed into Chengui town.
In 2000, Tongshankou town was merged with Chengui town.
