Lianzhou Town, subordinate to Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is the resident of the people's Government of Gaocheng district. It is located in the middle of Gaocheng District, bordering Xing'an town in the East, Meihua town and Nanying town in the south, qiutou town in the southwest, Gangshang town in the west, Nandong town and Haozhuang Township in Wuji County in the north, covering an area of 86.28 square kilometers.
In the 10th year of kaihuang reign of Sui Dynasty (590), it was the administrative center of counties, prefectures and counties in successive dynasties; in November 1987, it was renamed Gaocheng town; in July 1989, Gaocheng county was renamed Lianzhou town.
