Liqiao Town, a place name, is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Fushun County, Zigong City, Sichuan Province, the people's Republic of China. It is located in the southwest of Fushun County, Sichuan Province, 34 km away from the county seat, and 11 km away from the exit of Banqiao Town on Neiyi expressway. Its geographical location is 104 ° 50 ′ E and 29 ° 10 ′ n.

Division evolution

Li Qiaobao, Yuzheng Township, was set up in Qing Dynasty. in the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was called Liqiao regiment. In 1934, the three regiments of pengmiao, Liqiao and Shizhu were merged into Miaoqiao township. In 1945, Liqiao was incorporated into Xiyu township. In 1950, Liqiao township was established. In 1955, Wufu and Daming townships were merged, still known as Liqiao township. In September 1995, the organizational system was adjusted and Xinyu Township and Liqiao Township were merged into Liqiao town. In 2001, the district was withdrawn and the township was built into a town, which is still Liqiao town. Liqiao town is located in the southwest of Fushun County, adjacent to pengmiao town in the East, Linfeng Township and Daba Township in Nanxi County in the south, Fushan town in the West and Banqiao Town in the north.
