Shengli Street

Shengli Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Dunhua City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Dunhua City. It is adjacent to Hanzhang South Street and Bohai street in the East, Hongshi Township and Jiangnan Town in the south, Hanzhang Township in the west, Changbai road and Minzhu street in the north, with a total area of 14.93 square kilometers.

Dunhuacheng was built in 1875 in the first year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. The East, West and South gates of dunhuacheng were all in this street. In April 1985, Shengli, Shuguang and Songjiang were merged into Township Shengli Street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Shengli Street was 55789. As of June 2020, Shengli Street has five communities under its jurisdiction.

History of construction

Dunhua City was built in 1875, the first year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty.

In 1946, Guantun, Southeast and southwest were set up, belonging to Chengguan District.

In 1953, Sanxiang was merged into Shengli Street and Fanrong street.

In 1955, Fanrong Street office was merged into Shengli Street office.

In 1964, it was changed into Shengli Street, belonging to Dunhua town.

In May 1983, the Shuguang neighborhood committee set up Shuguang street.

In 1984, Songjiang Street office was set up in Shengli Street.

In April 1985, Shengli Street, Shuguang street and Songjiang street were merged into Township Shengli Street.
