Qulai town
Qulai Town, under the jurisdiction of Jizhou District, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southwest of Jizhou district. It borders Hebu Township and Xingqiao town in the East, West and North, and Dunhou town in the south across the hehe River, adjacent to Meitang town. The town covers an area of 41 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, 1 community, 85 natural villages and 130 village groups. In late 2018, there were 19 thousand and 800 registered residence in Qu Lai town.
By the end of 2018, there were 24 industrial enterprises and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in qulai town.
Evolution of organizational system
During the period of the Republic of China (1912-1949), it belonged to siren, qulai and Sanyi townships of Ji'an County.
In 1950, it belonged to siren, qulai, huangtang and Changlao townships of Ji'an County; in 1956, it belonged to hebuqiao township; in 1958, it set up qulai commune; in 1984, it changed to township.
In August 2000, qulai township was assigned to Jizhou district.
In March 2010, the township was set up.

Qulai town is located in the southwest of Jizhou District, bordering Hebu Township and Xingqiao town in the East, West and North, and opposite to the central city of Ji'an County (Dunhou town) across the river and adjacent to Meitang town in the south. The town covers an area of 41 square kilometers.

Qulai town is rich in water resources. Lushui River flows into the town from west to South and Heshui river flows into the town from south to north. At lujiazhou, an ancient village, the river flows into Ganjiang River.

At the end of 2013, qulai town completed the revision of the town's master plan. The controlled planning area of the town is 1.65 square kilometers (2500 mu), and the built-up area is 0.44 square kilometers (660 mu), accounting for 27% of the planning area, and the urbanization rate is 27.4%.
At the end of 2017, the built-up area of qulai town reached 1414 hectares.
New rural construction
By the end of 2013, qulai town had invested more than 20 million yuan, focusing on the construction of 30 new rural demonstration sites in 25 natural villages such as TanTian, Laowu and Shijing. In 2010, the first whole village (village committee) to promote the successful implementation of Changming demonstration site in the new rural construction of the whole district, with a total investment of more than 3 million yuan.

Qulai town government is 10 kilometers away from Ji'an administrative center, 7 kilometers away from national highway 105 and 6 kilometers away from the south exit of Ji'an on Jiangxi Guangdong Expressway. Through the four towns in the west, the roads run through the whole area, and 100% of the administrative villages and more than 90% of the natural villages have built cement roads.
History and culture
Lujiazhou ancient village was selected into the third batch of Chinese traditional ancient village list in October 2014.
Qulai town retains relatively complete ancient villages of lujiazhou, Latang and Hujia, ancient tombs of Tiandong village, ancient bells of Gaosha village and ancient private temples of sheping village, especially the "three treasures" jade temple, leaning tower and luohansong of lujiazhou; the Notre Dame nunnery of Yungu mountain, the ancient temple of boyushan, the ancient temple of waqiao village and other folk religious activities are very active, which run through the whole year and spread all over the town "Ghost Festival", especially the "lower Lantern Festival" in Gaolian village, has a strong traditional folk flavor everywhere, highlighting the long-standing Luling culture.

In 2009, qulai town was rated as "a town with beautiful environment in Jiangxi Province".
