Xiji town
Xiji Town, belonging to Bayan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Bayan County. It faces Huashan Township and Bayan town across Zhuti River and Shaoling River in the East, adjacent to Songhuajiang Township in the south, connected to Erba town of Hulan District in Harbin City bounded by piaohe River in the West, fengle Township in the north and longmiao town in the northeast. In the first year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1851), shuangshanbao was set up, belonging to Hulan city garrison. In 1938, it was changed into Xiji town. In August 1958, Xiji commune was changed, with 18 administrative areas and 110 production teams under its jurisdiction. In February 1984, the commune was transformed into a town.
By the end of 2019, Xiji town has two communities and six administrative villages.

Historical evolution
