Taolaizhao Town, belonging to Fuyu City, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Fuyu City, 119 kilometers away from Songyuan City in the East, 105 kilometers away from Changchun City in the south, 112 kilometers away from Harbin City in the north; it borders Wukeshu town of Yushu City in the East, Caiyuanzi town of Dehui city across the river in the south, wujiazhan town in the west, Sanchahe Town, Xinyuan town and Xiao hometown in the north. The total administrative area is 296.43 square kilometers.

During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, Tao laizhao was one of the ancient post stations; in 2005, dashanjiazi township was merged into Tao laizhao town. By the end of 2018, Tao Lai Zhao had 51108 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Taolaizhao town has one community and 29 administrative villages.

History of construction

During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, it was one of the ancient post stations; in 1896, tsarist Russia built the Middle East Railway and Taolaizhao railway station.

In 1945, Taolaizhao district was changed.

In March 1956, it was changed to Taolaizhao township.

In 1958, the township changed into a commune.

In 1983, the commune was transformed into a town.

In 1992, Beitao township was incorporated into the city.

In 2005, dashanjiazi township was merged into Taolaizhao town.
