Liumaowan town
Liumaowan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shawan City, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Shawan city. It is adjacent to No.146 regiment and No.147 regiment in the East, shangshangdi Township in the south, laoshawan town in the west, and Manas County across the old road of Manas River and Gurbantonggut desert in the north, with an administrative area of 174.51 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Liu Mao Wan Town was 7699. In 2019, liumaowan town governs four administrative villages.
The main food crops in liumaowan town are wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is cattle, sheep and poultry. History of construction
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belongs to Huangqu township of the first district of Shawan city (Shawan District).
In 1956, it exchanged land with the 146 regiment of the Eighth Agricultural Division, and the whole township was moved to liumaowan area in the upper part of Huangqu.
In 1958, it belonged to Dongfeng commune.
In 1966, liumaowan commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to liumaowan township.
In December 1999, the township was withdrawn to build liumaowan town.

By the end of 2011, liumaowan town had 18 administrative villages: Wangjiazhuang, liumaowan, qinjiaqu, Banqiao, yejiazhuang, taojiazhuang, huiminqu, Xinhu, Huangqu, huluyu, doujiazhuang, Touping, Erping, Xujiazhuang, Yangjiawan, huangqumiao, leijiazhuang and Shamenzi.
In 2019, liumaowan town has four administrative villages: liumaowan new village, huiminqu new village, Shamenzi new village and Huangqu new village.
