Andier Township
Andier Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Minfeng County in Hotan Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Minfeng County, adjacent to Qiemo County of Bazhou in the East, salwuzeke Township in the south, GuZi township of yawatong in the West and Qiemo County of Bazhou in the north. The administrative area is 9208.78 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in the township was 2470. As of October 2019, rural andir governs four administrative villages.
Animal husbandry in Andier township is mainly for raising sheep, cattle and black chickens. In 2011, 312 cattle, 20000 sheep and 15000 black chickens were raised.
History of construction
In 1952, the andir administrative area was set up.
In 1953, the state-owned ranch in andir was built.
In 1958, andir commune was established.
In 1959, the commune of andir was abolished and the management area and pasture system of andir were restored.
In 1984, the commune system was abolished and Andier township was established.
