Jiya Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Hotan City, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Hotan City, bordering Buya township of Luopu County in the East, Yulongkashi town in the south, Yulongkashi River in the West and Taklimakan Desert in the north. The administrative area is 171.80 square kilometers.

History of construction
In 1947, it was called Jiya Township, belonging to Yulongkashi town of Luopu county.
In 1950, the seventh district of Luopu county was established.
In 1956, it was renamed the first district.
Dongfeng and Weixing communes were established in 1958.
In 1959, tieliu commune was built together with the second district (now Yulong Kashi town).
In 1961, it was built separately.
In 1979, it was renamed Jiya commune.
In 1983, it was renamed as Kia commune.
In 1984, Jiya township was rebuilt.
In July 2006, it was transferred to Hotan city.
