Yuepuhu Township
Yuepuhu Township, belonging to yuepuhu County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the suburb of yuepuhu county. It is adjacent to tieremu Township in the East, county forest farm in the south, seyeke Township in the West and Jiashi County in the north. It is 2km away from the residence of yuepuhu County people's government, with a total area of 244.77km2.
From 1912 to 1950, yuepuhu Township belonged to Jianshe town. In August 1984, yuepuhu commune was divided into yuepuhu Township and yuepuhu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yuepuhu was 16791. In 2019, Yuepu Lake governs nine administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in karayujimai village.

History of construction
From 1912 to 1950, it was Jianshe town.
In 1951, it was a construction area.

In 1958, Yuepu Lake District was changed into Xianfeng commune.
In 1962, Xianfeng commune was renamed yuepuhu commune.
In August 1984, yuepuhu commune was divided into yuepuhu Township and yuepuhu town.
