Sumutashi Township
Sumutashi Township, a township under the jurisdiction of ahqi County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of ahqi County, connecting ahqi town in the East, Keping County in the south, halaqi Township in the West and Kyrgyz Republic in the north, with an administrative area of 1315.62 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 5129 households had registered residence in the city of Su mu. As of October 2019, sumtashi township has four administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, the total revenue of sumtashi township was 12 million yuan, an increase of 20.2% over the previous year. The per capita fiscal revenue was 2520 yuan, an increase of 28.2% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen is 1997 yuan.
History of construction
In 1950, it was the ninth, tenth and eleventh Township in the first district. In 1954, it was divided into the second district and became the second, third and fourth township of the second district.
In 1958, two communes, Qianjin commune and Hongxing commune, were established. The latter two communes merged with Hongqi commune to form sumutashi commune, which has jurisdiction over five brigades.
In January 1962, it was divided into two communes, sumutashi and Wuqu. Sumutashi commune governs sumutashi, 2 brigade of kezigongbaizi and a commune pasture.
In 1969, it was renamed the invincible commune. The residence was moved from sumtash to aktala.
In 1978, the original name of sumtatash commune was restored.
In 1984, the society was withdrawn and the township was built.
