Bulunkou Township
Bulukou Township, a township under the jurisdiction of aktao County in Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of aktao county. It is adjacent to Baren Township and kiziltao Township in the East, taheman Township and langkuli township of Tajik Autonomous County in Tashkurgan in the south, Muji Township in the West and oytak town in the north, with an administrative area of 4114 square meters Kilometers.

History of construction
Bulunkou Township originally belonged to Puli county.
In 1954, it was divided into four districts of Bulunkou under the jurisdiction of aketao County, with seven villages including SUBASHI, Bulunkou, qiaker Aigle, Gaizi, Muji, qiongdun and oitak.
In 1956, it was changed into five districts of aketao county.
In December 1958, Bulunkou commune was rebuilt.
In June 1962, Bulunkou commune was divided into Bulunkou commune, oitak commune and Muji commune.
In 1966, Bulunkou commune was renamed anti revisionist commune.
In 1978, the original name of Bulunkou commune was restored.
In 1981, the tocayi brigade of Oytag commune was transferred to brunkou commune.
In October 1984, the commune was withdrawn and the township was built.
