Bulang Miao township is located in the northeast of Puding County in the west of Guizhou Province, 23 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Houchang Township in the East, Maodong Township across the river in the south, Pingshang Township in the West and Zhijin County in the north. It is a typical Karst Rocky Mountain Area with humid subtropical monsoon climate.
The total area of the area is 80.78 square kilometers. The altitude of the whole township is between 1090-1793 meters. The mountains are high and steep, the valleys are deep, and the mountains, slopes and Bazi are interlaced.
