Qarqi Town, belonging to Baicheng County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Baicheng County, bordering Daqiao Township in the East, wenbashi Township in the southeast, youludushbage town in Xinhe County in the south, bozidun ranch in Wensu County in the west, Dawanqi farm and Laohutai Township across muzati River in the north. In 2018, the area is 1283.6 square kilometers, with a total area of 1.8 million households The native population is 18369.
Before 1945, qarqi was the third district of Baicheng county. In 1950, it was established as qarzi district (four districts). In 1966, Shanghai educated youth came here to support the frontier and set up the local state-owned Baicheng Chaerqi farm under the jurisdiction of the Department of agricultural reclamation of the autonomous region. In 1970, the farm was handed over to Baicheng county and renamed as local state-owned Chaerqi farm in Baicheng county. In June 2001, the town was established. As of October 2019, qarqi town has one community, 13 administrative villages and one living area.
In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in qarqi Town, including one above scale and four comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
