Ya Ha town, belonging to Kuche city of Akesu, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Kuche City, East and Kuche, Bayan County, Luntai County group, Barker Town, south of the tower and the town of Dun Kuo Tan, West and Wu Zun Town, Agger Township adjacent to the North and Beishan pasture border, in 2018, the area of 2656.4 square kilometers, the registered residence population of 34999 people.

In 1950, when the people's grass-roots political power was established, it was divided into the Fifth District. In 1966, Yaha commune was changed into Hongyang commune. In 1978, Yaha commune was restored. In 1984, Yaha township was established. In 2001, the township was withdrawn and Yaha town was built. As of October 2019, Yaha town has one community and 23 administrative villages.

In 2018, Yaha town has 4 industrial enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1913, Kuqa County was the second district.

In 1944, Yaha was called a district.

In 1950, when the people's grass-roots political power was established, it was divided into the Fifth District.

In 1953, it was changed into district 10.

In 1955, it was changed into District 9.

In 1958, Yaha, Langan and ertai were merged into Mengjin commune.

In March 1959, Yuejin, Qianjin and Mengjin were merged into Liming commune, which was renamed Yaha commune on August 15 of the same year.

In 1966, Yaha commune was changed into Hongyang commune.

In 1978, Yaha commune was restored.

In 1984, Yaha township was established.

In 2001, the township was withdrawn and Yaha town was built.
