Beidaqu Township
Beidaqu Township, belonging to Yanqi Hui Autonomous County of Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Yanqi Hui Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Bohu County in the East, wuhaoqu Township in the south, Hejing County in the West and 22nd regiment of the second agricultural division in the north, with a total area of 138 square kilometers.
In 1958, Dongfeng commune was established in beidaqu township; in 1985, it was changed from beidaqu commune to beidaqu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the North Canal township was 12985. In 2019, beidaqu township has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in beidaqu village.
