Qiemo Town, subordinate to Qiemo County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in Qiemo county. During the period of the Republic of China, Jinyuan town was established in Qiemo.
In 1949, it was bazha Township in the first district of Qiemo county.
In 1958, bazha township was changed into bazha town.
In 1981, bazha town was changed into Qiemo town.
