Wutamu Township, belonging to Ruoqiang County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Ruoqiang County, adjacent to Ruoqiang town in the East, washixia town in the South and West, and Yuli County in the north. It is 3.5km away from Ruoqiang County, with a total area of 11700 square kilometers.
In 1857, the development of wutamu Township began; in 1984, wutamu commune was changed into wutamu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of our TA Mu township was 4360. In 2019, wutamu Township governs seven administrative villages, and the people's government is located in yirike village, yulegun.
