Lulong Town, belonging to Lulong County, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Lulong County, bordering Xiazhai Township in the East, Mujing Township and Shimen town in the south, Luan county and Qian'an city in the west across Luan River and Qinglong River, and Yinzhuang Township in the north, with an administrative area of 106.45 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Lulong town was 68597.
In 1949, it was a district of Lulong County. In January 1988, wulitai township was merged and renamed Lulong town. In January 1996, mataizi Township, leidianzi Township and Yinmahe Township were merged. As of June 2020, Lulong town has jurisdiction over one community and 74 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Fanzhuang village.
In 2018, there were 61 industrial enterprises in Lulong Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 78 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, it was a district of Lulong County.
In May 1953, Lulong town was built.
In July 1956, dalianxiang and Jiahetan were merged.
In September 1958, it was the Chengguan Management Area of Chengguan commune.
In June 1961, Chengguan commune was established.
In February 1984, Chengguan town was restored and wulitai Township emerged.
In January 1988, wulitai township was merged and renamed Lulong town.
In January 1996, mataizi Township, leidianzi Township and Yinmahe Township were merged.
