Zalemute Township
Zalemute Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Wenquan County, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Wenquan County, bordering bogdar town in the East, angulige Township and Huocheng County in Ili Prefecture in the south, and Kazakhstan in the West and North. The administrative area is 264.66 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population registered residence in the village of 1378 had been registered.

In 2010, mengke ranch was merged into zalemute township. As of October 2019, rural zalemut governs 6 administrative villages and 1 animal husbandry team.

The total agricultural output value was 24.546 million yuan, an increase of 1.28 million yuan over the previous year, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4928 yuan. History of construction
In 1992, three animal husbandry teams, one agricultural team and two animal husbandry villages were divided by kundelun ranch and merged to form zalemute township.
In 2010, mengke ranch was merged into zalemute township.
