Qihu Township

Qihu Township, belonging to Qitai County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of the county, bordering yinggebao township of Mulei County and Kazakh Autonomous County in the East, xiacaochang of Qitai County in the south, Qitai central regiment farm of BINGTUAN Sixth Agricultural Division in the West and laoqitai town in the north. The area is 270 square kilometers. In 2018, 8289 people registered residence.

In March 1950, it was the Qihu township of the second district. In May 1958, it belonged to the red flag commune. In 1987, it separated from laoqitai town and established Qihu township. In October 2019, Qihu Township governs three administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises in Qihu Township and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
