Qidaowan street, a street under the jurisdiction of Shuimogou District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Shuimogou District, adjacent to Badaowan street in the East and Southeast, weihuliang street in the south, Nanhu North Road Street in the southwest and West, dibiao street in Midong District in the northwest and North, and Badaowan street in the northeast. Its total area is 12.66 square kilometers.
By the end of 2011, the total population of qidaowan sub district was 9525. As of October 2019, qidaowan street has 12 communities under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, the total revenue of qidaowan street was 54 million yuan, an increase of 30% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 39 million yuan, an increase of 25% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 11137 yuan.
History of construction
In August 1956, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, qidaowan township was established.
In January 1981, it was renamed qidaowan commune in Urumqi county.
In August 1984, it was renamed qidaowan township. It has jurisdiction over eight villages, namely Nanhu village, qidaowan village, Liudaowan village, Badaowan village, jiajiawan village, Hongshan village, wangjialiang village and bajiahu village.
In January 2000, it was transferred from Urumqi county to Shuimogou District.
In December 2004, five villages, namely Nanhu, Liudaowan, Hongshan, wangjialiang and bajiahu, were removed and built.
In January 2007, qidaowan township was abolished and qidaowan sub district office was established. Shuimogou village was assigned to Shuimogou office. The original weihuliang Street Xinxing community neighborhood committee area is under the management of qidaowan sub district office.
In March 2010, Longsheng street community residents committee was established.
