Yanzidun Township

Yanzidun township is located in the southern end of Huinong District, Shizuishan City, Ningxia, with the towering Helan Mountain in the West and the surging Yellow River in the East. National Highway 109 and National Highway 110 pass through the territory. It governs 10 administrative villages, 74 villager groups, with a total population of 9837 people (2017), covering an area of 96 square kilometers. Development status

In 1998, yanzidun township was rated as the advanced township of wolfberry base construction by Huinong municipal Party committee and government. On June 16, 2000, Jiang Zemin and other party and state leaders visited Lycium barbarum garden in yanwochi village. In 2002, yanzidun township was rated as the advanced township of pollution-free wolfberry production by Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. In 2002 and 2004, Shizuishan municipal Party committee was successively elected as "six good" township party committee and "five good" township party committee.
