Tongpu town
Tongpu Town, belonging to Wulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the northeast of Wulan County, adjacent to Chaka town in the East, Dulan County in the south, xiligou town and Keke town in the west, and Tianjun County in the north. In 2018, the area of copper town was 2047.66 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 4318.
In October 2019, Tongpu town governs one community and six administrative villages.

Historical evolution
Qing Yongzheng three years (1725 years) to 1949 for Qinghai Mongolia left wing League Heshuote Department xiqian banner (commonly known as Wangjia banner) pasture.
In May 1958, wangjiaqi township was established and changed into Tongpu commune in September of the same year.
In April 1963, it was changed into Tongpu township.
In September 1966, it was renamed Qianjin township.
In January 1968, it was renamed May 7th commune.
In January 1970, it was renamed Tongpu commune.
In 1981, when the commune separated agriculture and animal husbandry, the Dulan River brigade was divided into Dulan River and shanggaba, the Chahan River brigade was divided into Chahan River and Hebei, and the chahannuo brigade was divided into chahannuo and Henan.
In July 1984, the commune was changed into a township and the brigade into a village.
In December 2005, Tongpu township was abolished and Tongpu town was established.

It originates from ahandalai mountain and the north slope of gaojiegenhaorao mountain, flows from east to southwest through chahanhe village, harihatu, shangzaba village, Henan village and Dulan river village to Dulan river reservoir, with a total runoff of 33.4 million cubic meters.
