Qieji Township
Qieji Township, belonging to Gonghe County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southwest of Gonghe County, bordering tanggemu town in the East, Xinghai County in the southeast, Dulan County in the West and Heimahe Township in the north. The area is 4046.61 square kilometers. In 2018, 9845 people registered residence.
It was called "Da Fei Chuan" in ancient times. After the founding of new China, qieji township was under the jurisdiction of shangguomi district. In 1953, it was changed into Cheji district. In 1958, it was changed into Qiji township. In 1968, it was changed into Cheji commune. In 1984, it was renamed Qiji township. As of October 2019, Cheji township has 8 administrative villages.
In 2018, there are 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Cheji township.

Qieji township was called "dafichuan" in ancient times.

At the end of 2011, there was a community residents committee in Cheji township. Mohe, dongke, Xincun, tasiu, qiafdan, Qijia, jiashike and wahe are eight village (Pastoral) committees with 24 production cooperatives.
As of October 2019, Qiji township has 8 administrative villages: dongke village, tasiu village, wahe village, Qijia village, Xincun village, Mohe village, jiashike village and qiaofudan village.

The terrain of qieji township is flat and vast. The whole terrain is high in the South and low in the north. It mostly belongs to desert or Desertification Zone, with an area of 4175.02 square kilometers and an average altitude of 3000-3500 meters.

The annual average temperature of qieji township is 2.7 ℃, the annual precipitation is 250 mm, and the frost free period is 60 days.
natural resources
Qiaofudan iron deposit, zhihaimaigou copper deposit, tasiu maoniugou upstream gold deposit and wahonggou granite deposit have been proved in qieji township. Wild animals include wolf, bear, wild boar, snow leopard, proctor's gazelle and other national endangered species; birds include eagle, Harrier, alpine snow pheasant, stone pheasant, rock pigeon, lark, yellow duck and so on. There are many kinds of wild medicinal materials, such as Cordyceps, ginger, rhubarb, ephedra, Gentiana macrophylla, Saussurea involucrata, Cynomorium songaricum, etc.

Among them, there are 3150 non-agricultural population (including long-term foreign businessmen) and more than 5000 floating population. In the total population, Tibetans account for 91%, and there are Han, Hui, Mongolian, Tu and other nationalities.

In 2011, new agriculture, new animal husbandry and secondary and tertiary industries developed simultaneously in qieji Township, with a total social output value of 29.7 million yuan, a cultivated land area of 48000 Mu and a usable grassland area of 5057000 mu. Animal husbandry is mainly based on raising livestock, with 284000 livestock on hand at the end of the year; 126000 piglets were bred, 119600 survived, with a survival rate of 95%. 6625 adult and young animals died, with a mortality rate of 1.7%. 20000 Tibetan sheep breeds were selected, 30000 semi fine wool sheep were improved, and 6000 lambs were fattened and sold. Jiashike village semi fine wool breed breeding is a key project supported by the provincial animal husbandry station, which is a new breed group of semi fine wool sheep for meat and wool. The summer grassland in tahiu village and dongke village is rich in Cordyceps sinensis, and the planting area of organic wolfberry is 5000 mu. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen is 4092.7 yuan.
At the end of 2011, there were 500 individual businesses and 2000 employees in Qiji Township, mainly engaged in hardware processing, wholesale and retail of goods, catering industry, motorcycle repair, medical services, grain and oil processing, hairdressing, etc.
