The town of kabbra is a county in Jianzha, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, located in the southern bank of Lijiaxia reservoir area in the Yellow River, East Kang Yang Town, South Jia Jia Township, West Guide County, North and Longhua County, chasi Town, 2018, with a total area of 358.73 square kilometers and 14182 registered residence population.
During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was known as "the 19 families of kambla". During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Sixth District of guide County, Qinghai Province. In 1952, it was under the jurisdiction of Jianzha Working Committee. On March 19, 2001, the three townships of kambla, toga and Zhiganglaka were abolished and the town of kambla was merged. As of October 2019, the town has two communities and 20 administrative villages.

Historical evolution
There are two versions of the origin of the name of kambula: first, according to the records of the history of kambula's poetry, the descendants of the kangnu clan came here to live in peace and form a village, which was named Nushi kambula; second, according to folklore, about the early Ming Dynasty, the ancestors of the kambula tribe were three brothers who moved from Sichuan. Because of this, the Tibetan area in Sichuan is called "Kang" and "kangbula" in Tibetan, which means "from Kangdi" "Manor", Chinese writing "Cambra".
