Heyu town is located in the east of Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, 160 kilometers east of Luoyang, with a total area of 310.4 square kilometers and a population of 22231 people (2017). National Highway 311 and luoluan express pass through the area, and the clear river and Xixiang River pass through it. Historical evolution

Heyu district was established in 1955, changed to commune in 1958, restored to commune in 1961, restored to commune in 1963, changed to township in 1984, and established a town in 1995. Heyu town has 389000 mu of forest land, including 369000 mu of forest land and 19000 mu of shrub land. The forest coverage rate was 83.6%. Qiancun is located in the southwest of Heyu street, with 6 villager groups, 383 households, 2340 people and 1442 mu of cultivated land. Qiancun mainly produces wheat, corn, beans and peanuts. The average annual grain yield is 385-420 tons, 200-225 kg per mu. The annual output of peanuts is more than 30 tons, ranking first in the town. In 2000, the total output value of agriculture was 600000 yuan. There is one primary school and two health centers.

Kangzhuang Village

Kangzhuang village is located in the southwest of the town, with 6 villager groups, 298 households, 1056 people and 594 mu of cultivated land. Crops are wheat, corn, peanuts, beans and so on. The average annual grain yield is 160-180 tons, 150-180 kg per mu. The total yield of peanut is 8-10 tons. In 2000, the total output value of planting industry was 200000 yuan. By the end of 2000, 90% of households had tap water, 30% had telephone, 90% had TV, 40% had household appliances and 25% had motorcycles. There is one primary school and one health center.

Madiao Village

Madiao village is located in the west of Heyu street, with 7 villager groups, 209 households, 769 people and 779 mu of cultivated land. Fluorite ore reserves, there are 10 ore mouth, has been mining for nearly 30 years. Crops are wheat, corn, beans, peanuts and so on. The average annual grain yield is 200-240 tons, 160-180 kg per mu. The annual output of peanut is 8-10 tons. In 2000, the total output value of planting industry was 250000 yuan. It also produces fungus, mushroom, chestnut and so on. The electricity consumption rate is 100%, the telephone rate is 30%, the tap water rate is 85%, the television rate is 95%, the household appliances rate is 50%, and the motorcycle rate is 25%. Stone Village

Stone village is located in the northwest of Heyu street, with three villager groups, 74 households, 242 people and 213 mu of cultivated land. Crops include wheat, corn, peanuts and beans. The average annual grain yield is 45-60 tons, 160-180 kg per mu. The annual output of peanut is 1.5-2 tons. In 2000, the total output value of planting industry was 60000 yuan. Local specialties are fungus, mushroom, chestnut and so on. In 1998, an investment of 30000 yuan was made, 5200 projects were completed, and 2.5 kilometers of village roads were widened and reconstructed. In February 2000, the rural power grid transformation was completed. The electricity consumption rate of the whole village was 100%, the telephone rate was 15%, the tap water rate was 80%, the television rate was 85%, the household appliances rate was 30%, and the motorcycle rate was 35%.
