Jicang Township, belonging to Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Xiahe County, adjacent to Hezuo city in the East, Luqu County in the southwest, Luqu County, Shuangcha Township and ALA Township in the south, and amuquhu town and Bola Township in the north. The area is 288.59 square kilometers. In 2018, 4778 people registered residence.
In 1953, Maixi township was established. In 1968, the commune was established. In 1983, the township was changed. In 1986, it was renamed Jicang township. In June 2020, Jicang countryside governs three administrative villages.
