Bazang town
Bazang Town, belonging to Zhouqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Zhouqu County. It is adjacent to Lijie Township in the East, Dayu Township and quwa Township in the south, Luoda Township in Diebu County in the West and Hanban Township in the north. The area is 96.25 square kilometers. In 2018, 5181 people registered residence.
After 1949, bazang township was established. In 1958, the Pakistan Tibet commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to bazang township. In 2018, the township will be changed into a town. In June 2020, bazang town governs five administrative villages.

By the end of 2011, bazang town had five villagers' committees, including jazang, houbeishan, qianbeishan, shangbazang and Xiling, with 22 villagers' groups and 15 natural villages.
In June 2020, bazang town governs five administrative villages: shangbazang village, xiabazang village, Xiling village, bazhaigou village and qianbeishan village, and the people's Government of bazang town is stationed in bazang village.

Bazang town is located in the middle and upper reaches of Bailong River, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. Mt. madeshan, the highest peak in the territory, is located in houbeishan village, with an altitude of 3900 meters. Chengjiazui, the lowest point, is located in qianzang village, with an altitude of 1590 meters.

In 2011, bazang town had 6130.4 mu of arable land, 21000 mu of available grassland and 58000 mu of forest land. Grain crops are mainly wheat and corn, producing 1229.3 tons of grain. The main economic crops are oil crops, vegetables and so on. The planting area of oil crops is 662 mu, and the yield is 120.5 tons; the planting area of vegetables is 385 mu, and the yield is 337.3 tons. The main varieties are pepper, tomato, etc. Animal husbandry is mainly based on raising cattle, sheep and pigs, with 5194 pigs and 2697 at the end of the year; 2529 sheep and 573 at the end of the year; 1247 cattle and 876 at the end of the year; and 1862 poultry. The production of meat is 169.8 tons, and the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen is 3102 yuan.
