Huanglian Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Tongzi County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northeast of Tongzi County, adjacent to Miaotang town of Zheng'an county and Taibai town of Xunyang County in the East, Songkan town in the West and south, Mugua Town, dabatang town and Xiaoshui town in the West and North, with an administrative area of 197.83 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 11662 households had registered residence in Huang Lian. As of October 2019, Huanglian rural area has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Huanglian township was 1.38 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 2250 yuan. In 2018, there were five industrial enterprises in Huanglian Township, including one above scale and five comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
The Ming and Qing dynasties belong to yelangli.
From 1941 to 1949, it belonged to the fourth and fifth districts of Songkan district.
In June 1950, it was divided into eight districts.
In July 1992, five villages (Houshen, Xinzhuang, Xiangping, Yinshan and daozhu) under the jurisdiction of Bailu Township in Songkan district were merged with Huanglian township to form a new Huanglian township.

Huanglian township is located in the graben zone between the original forest of tianaoping, houshenxi Grand Canyon and shengenluoxie mountain. The terrain belongs to alpine karst forest canyon. It is a karst high mountain gorge. The highest point is located in xiaodaping, huanglianba village, with an altitude of 1920 meters; the lowest point is houshenxi village Heba, with an altitude of 600 meters. The average altitude is 1400m.

Yinshan Reservoir Scenic area covers an area of about 1 square kilometer, with a water area of 40 mu. Yinshan reservoir is the main scenic spot. Yinshan reservoir is located in a hilly area.
Smallpox primeval forest scenic spot is located at the junction of Hunan village, shangluoxie village and daxihe village of Huanglian Township, covering an area of about 22 square kilometers and 2 kilometers away from the government of Huanglian township.
Ganhegou grassland site is located in the east of Huanglian township government, 5km away from the township government, and close to the original forest of smallpox Ping. It is the only exit to the original East of smallpox Ping. The grassland covers an area of 1500 mu, with low mountains and hills on both sides.
