Yudong Street
Yudong street, belonging to Banan District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Banan District, on the South Bank of the Yangtze River. It connects Longzhouwan street in the East, Yipin town in the south, Luohuang town in Jiangjin District in the west, Yangtze River in the north and Dadukou District across the river. It is 4km away from the District People's government, 8km from the east to the west, and 9.8km from the north to the south, with a total area of 55.6km 2.
In the Ming Dynasty, Yudong Street belonged to yunzhuanli; in July 2001, Yudong street was established by merging Yudong Town and Baijie town. At the end of 2011, the total population of Yudong street was 166800. As of June 2020, Yudong street has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 5 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 27, Yuqing road.

History of construction
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to yunzhuanli.
In 1707, it was called Xiaoli in the 46th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty; in the end of the Qing Dynasty, yudongchang was set up.
At the beginning of the first year of the Republic of China (1912), yudongchang was a township level administrative district; in 1930, yudongzhen was built.
In December 1951, Yudong Town was divided into Dawo township.
In March 1952, Shiban township (Xiaoba township) was established in Yudong Town; in October of the same year, Yudong Town was classified as the Fourth District of Chongqing.
In February 1953, it was transferred back to Baxian county.
In January 1954, the people's Government of Ba County moved to Yudong.
In 1974, Yudong District of Baxian county was established.
In January 1986, Yudong district was abolished and district level Yudong Town was established.
In July 2001, Yudong Town and Baijie town merged to set up Yudong street.

In 2009, Jiefang village, dulongqiao village, Honglu village, Tuanjie village, Panlong village, Yanhe village, meijialiang community and Baijie community were under the jurisdiction of Longzhouwan street, and qiaokouba village was under the jurisdiction of Yipin street.
