Majiabao town

Majiabao Town, subordinate to Hezheng County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Hezheng County, adjacent to sanlipu town and bujiazhuang Township in the East, luojiaji Township in the South and Linxia County in the West. The area is 37.37 square kilometers. In 2018, 18402 people registered residence.

In 1940, it was under the jurisdiction of Heping township. In 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Heping District. In 1954, it was under the jurisdiction of the third district. In 1955, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. In 1958, the commune was established. In 1983, it was changed to Majiabao township. In 2001, the township was removed and the town was built. In October 2019, Majiabao town has nine administrative villages.

In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Majiabao Town, with 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Majiabao town is high in the West and low in the East. The highest point is dagaozui, Zhangwan village, with an altitude of 2350 meters; the lowest point is located in the valley of Xiaohe village, with an altitude of 1900 meters.

Economics

In 2011, Majiapu town had 17502 mu of agricultural cultivated land with a total agricultural output value of 28.95 million yuan. The main food crops are winter wheat, corn and potato, producing 667 tons of grain, including 1788 tons of wheat, 4368 tons of corn and 432 tons of potato. Rape is the main economic crop with a yield of 735 tons. Animal husbandry is mainly for raising sheep, cattle and pigs. At the end of the year, there are 4795 cattle, 8215 sheep and 7418 pigs on hand. The production of meat is 454.4 tons, and the per capita net income of farmers is 2600 yuan.
