Zhan'erxiang town

Zhanerxiang Town, a township under the jurisdiction of Liangdang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Liangdang county and on the Bank of Jialing River. It is connected with Xipo town and Taishan Township in the East, Jialing town in Hui County in the south, Yuchi Township and Xianlong Township in the west, and Xinghua Township in the north. The total administrative area is 100.71 square kilometers.

In July 1950, Taiba township was established (township government is located in zhan'erxiang), which is subordinate to the third district of Liangdang County; in June 2003, township was removed to establish town. By the end of 2018, there were 4096 registered residence population in zhali Xiang. As of June 2020, zhanerxiang town has one community and 12 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of zhanerxiang town was 1.66 million yuan, the total agricultural output value was 12.411 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 46.26 million yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods was 3.16 million yuan.

History of construction

In July 1950, Taiba township (township government is located in zhan'erxiang) was established, which is subordinate to the third district of Liangdang county.

In August 1958, when the three counties were merged, they were assigned to Guangjin commune and became the brigade of zhan'erxiang.

In January 1962, after the three counties were set up separately, zhan'erxiang commune was established.

In December 1983, it was changed into zhan'erxiang township.

In June 2003, the township was set up.

In April 2004, zhanerxiang community was established.

Location context

Zhan'erxiang town is located in the south of Liangdang county and on the Bank of Jialing River. It is connected with Xipo town and Taishan Township in the East, Jialing town in Hui County in the south, Yuchi Township and Xianlong Township in the west, and Xinghua Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 15.3 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 10.7 km. The total administrative area is 100.71 square kilometers.

Zhan'erxiang town is located in the northern margin of the South Qinling Mountains and the edge of the Weicheng basin, with overlapping mountains and ravines. The terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest. Most of the cultivated land is distributed on the ridge above the mountainside. The highest point is located in Luyao formation of Guanjiang village, 2391 meters in haipi, and the lowest point is located in huoya formation of Mazhuang village, 802 meters above sea level.
