Niyang Town, subordinate to Hui County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Hui County, connecting Fujia town in the East, Chengxian County in the southwest, jiangluo town in the north, 52 kilometers away from Hui County, with a total area of 60.6 square kilometers.
In the later Wei Dynasty, Baishi county was set up in the territory of Niyang town; in 1985, it was changed from Niyang township to Niyang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 15739. As of June 2020, Niyang town has one community and 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in limo village.

History of construction
In the later Wei Dynasty, Baishi county was established.
In the Western Wei Dynasty, it was renamed Tonggu.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, Niyang county was set up and subordinate to Guangye county.
In the Later Zhou Dynasty, the county was abandoned as a town.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Niyang and Liting were under the jurisdiction of Tonggu County.
In 1950, Niyang township was established.
In 1958, Niyang commune was established.
In 1962, it was renamed Niyang commune.
In 1983, it was re established as Niyang township.
In 1985, Niyang township was changed into Niyang town.
