natural resources
Gongshan is rich in natural resources. The town has 4200 hectares of arable land, which is suitable for planting a variety of economic crops, mainly high-quality rice, oil, cotton, etc. the mountain farm covers an area of 5500 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 30%, mainly including Cunninghamia lanceolata, Pinus koraiensis, rare and precious tree species nanmu. It has the largest fresh water reservoir in Wuhu Shifeng reservoir, 2 small (I) reservoirs and 10 small (II) reservoirs It has a complete range of mineral resources, large amount of savings and high grade. There are mainly gold, copper, iron, calcium carbonate, calcite, etc. there are 30 copper and iron mining enterprises with annual mining capacity of 350000 tons, and 7 mineral processing enterprises. Industrial and mining enterprises account for two thirds of the city. Gongshan is building a mining products processing zone along Nantong Road, gradually forming a mining products processing corridor. Gongshan town is located in the inland, with mountain peaks, snow all the year round, cold and long winter, cool and short summer, and an average annual temperature of 6.5 ℃. It is a mid temperate continental desert climate with mountain climate characteristics. However, it is rich in light energy resources, and the annual total solar radiation is 133.9 kcal / cm2. The average annual precipitation is 220.3 mm in the northwest, 162.8 mm in the middle and 112.4 mm in the East. Although the precipitation is not much, there is snow water supply, which is beneficial to the development of agricultural production. Due to the lack of heat resources, we can not grow warm crops, but can only grow cold tolerant crops. Gongshan town is rich in mineral resources and easy to exploit. Metallic minerals mainly include iron, copper, gold, lead and zinc, and non-metallic minerals mainly include coal, petroleum, phosphorus, clay, celestite, gypsum, etc., among which coal, iron and gypsum have more reserves. By the end of 2004, there were 34 mining enterprises in Gongshan town.
Humanistic culture
Wuxia Park in the town integrates human landscape and natural landscape, known as "Jiuhua reappearance, Huangshan night shadow". There are many natural landscapes in the park, such as "Eight Immortals gathering, elephant welcoming, rhinoceros watching the moon, Golden Rooster heralding the dawn", which are recorded in the dictionary of Chinese scenic spots. The book Tong Pu, written by Chen Ju, a forestry scholar in Dongzhong during the Northern Song Dynasty, is the earliest monograph on Paulownia in China and even in the world. With the continuous development of tourism resources, the town has begun to take shape, gradually forming a "one-day tour of Gongshan" tourism pattern.
mineral resources
There are 59 enterprises in the town, including 35 mining enterprises, 30 well mining metal mines (including 5 pit exploration enterprises), 9 mineral processing enterprises and 4 other mining processing enterprises. The annual mining capacity is 1.02 million tons. Among the mining enterprises, Xincheng mining, Tongtie mining, Jinshan mining, etc. The exploration area has reached 1.17 square kilometers, and the metal reserves have reached 11000 tons. About 8.73 square kilometers are still under exploration. Copper, iron and Jinshan have been successfully exploited. in terms of mining processing, the projects mainly include copper oxide ore processing into electronic grade copper oxide, iron ore processing to foundry, tailings processing into new environmental protection building materials, and Jinshan cement grinding station with an annual output of 1 million tons. The project of Jinshan cement grinding station with an annual output of 1 million tons is under construction, and other projects have been completed and put into operation. all mining in the town is shallow mining, and deep ore bodies are under exploration. Among them, the exploration of team 812 of East China Metallurgical Geological Exploration Bureau in yaojialing area of the town has great development potential. After three years of drilling, it is found that the copper lead zinc deposits in the deposit are mainly lenticular and veined. The proven ore belt is about 1500 meters long and 300-500 meters wide. There are 38 copper, lead-zinc, gold and sulfur ore bodies in the controlled three sections, including 9 copper ore bodies, 19 lead-zinc ore bodies, 9 sulfur ore bodies and 1 gold ore body. The average grade of lead and zinc is 5.16% and that of copper is 1.30%. The total proved reserves are up to 400000 tons, accompanied by high grade gold and silver. At present, the exploration area is 4.2 square kilometers, which is still under exploration, and is expected to expand to 8.9 square kilometers. At the same time, Anhui Provincial Geological Exploration Institute also explored the Zhujiachong exploration right 6.4 square kilometers to the west of yaojialing. According to the analysis of the proved data, the metal reserves in this area are expected to exceed 100000 tons, and the main metals are copper and gold. supported by abundant resources, the town is closely linked
