Leiba town

Leiba Town, subordinate to Lixian County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Lixian County, bordering Longlin town in the East, Xiaoliang Township in the south, wangba town in the west, and Tanping Township in the north. It is 60 kilometers away from Lixian County, with a total area of 102.95 square kilometers.

In the Western Han Dynasty, Jialing Road of Wudu County was set up in leiba town; in 2014, leiba town was changed into leiba town. By the end of 2018, the population of Lei Ba town registered residence was 10390. As of June 2020, leiba town has 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of leiba town is located in Qingshui village.

History of construction

In the Western Han Dynasty, Jialing Road was set up in Wudu County.

In the northern and Southern Dynasties, there were Tanshui county and Tanshui county.

In Sui and Tang Dynasties, Tanshui county was established.

In the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, the town of datan was established.

In Song Dynasty, datan county was set up.

In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was called datanli.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), leiba village and Pingtou village were set up in the third district of Lixian County.

In February 1934, it belonged to zuosanlibao.

In April 1941, it was founded in datan township.

In December 1943, Li Nan District was established.

In November 1949, datan district and Qingjiang and Pingtou townships were set up.

In July 1952, datan district was changed into the 13th District of Lixian County.

In September 1958, three brigades, Qingjiang, Pingtou and Qilin, were established, belonging to datan commune.

In August 1961, datan commune was changed into datan District, and three brigades of Qingjiang, Pingtou and Qilin formed leiba commune.

In January 1966, datan district was abolished and Pingtou commune was merged into leiba commune.

In December 1983, leiba commune was transformed into leiba township.

In 2014, leiba township was changed from township to town.
