MoBa Tibetan Township
MoBa Tibetan Township, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Wudu district. It is connected with waina town in the East, waina town and sheshu Township in Wen County in the south, sheshu Township in the West and citrus Township in the north. It is 17.3km away from Wudu City, with a total area of 61.92km2.
During the Qing Dynasty, the area of MoBa Tibetan Township belonged to the old city; in June 1986, jugan township was separated into MoBa Tibetan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the village was 5310. As of June 2020, eight administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of the Tibetan villages in MoBa, and the Township People's government is stationed in the village.
The main food crops in MoBa Tibetan township are wheat and corn, and the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, there are two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in MoBa Tibetan township.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it was an old city.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it was classified as the post old city.
In 1935, it was Zhongnan township.
In July 1950, it was MoBa and Gaishi townships, belonging to the permeable area.
In 1952, Dongcun township was added.
In October 1955, Dongcun township was merged into Gaishi township.
In March 1958, Gaishi and MoBa townships were merged into citrus townships; in October, it was established as citrus commune; in November of the same year, it was merged into Toufang commune.
In June 1961, some brigades were set up from Toufang and Sanhe communes.
In December 1983, it was restored to citrus township.
In June 1986, jugan township was divided into MoBa Tibetan township.
