Puchi Township
Puchi Township, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Wudu district. It is adjacent to Hanlin town and Maying town in the East, Liangshui town in the south, Shimen town and Jiaogong town in the west, Chiba Township and Xinzhai township of Dangchang County in the north, with a total area of 121.34 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, Puchi Township belonged to liangshuili; in December 1983, it was changed from Puchi commune to PUCHI township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Pu Chi Township was 16945. As of June 2020, Puchi countryside has jurisdiction over 25 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Gaojia village.
The main food crops in PUCHI township are wheat, corn, beans and potatoes, and the main animal husbandry is raising pigs and sheep. In 2018, Puchi Township had 3 industrial enterprises and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to liangshuili.
In 1931, houliangshuili was set up.
In 1933, it was changed to houliangshui village.
In 1941, it was changed to PUCHI township.
In July 1950, Puchi, Banqiao and Shiban townships were built, belonging to the Liangshui district.
In January 1953, Puchi Township, Fengyuan Township, Banqiao Township and Shiban Township were merged into PUCHI township.
In October 1958, PUCHI township was changed into Puchi commune; in November of the same year, it was merged into Liangshui commune.
In June 1961, Gaojia village and pingershang management area were merged into Puchi commune.
In December 1983, Puchi commune was transformed into PUCHI township.
