Kaibian town
Kaibian Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Zhenyuan County, adjacent to Chengguan town in the East, Guoyuan Township in the south, Wugou Township in the West and Miaoqu Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 159.87 square kilometers.
In 1949, it was kaibian district; in December 1983, it was changed to kaibian township; in October 2002, kaibian township was removed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 22300. In June 2020, kaibian town governs nine administrative villages.
In 2018, the gross agricultural product of kaibian town was 165 million yuan, an increase of 10.73%; the per capita disposable income of farmers was 8217 yuan, an increase of 11.6%. In 2018, kaibian town has 10 industrial enterprises and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, it was a border region.
In March 1958, kaibian township was demoted; in September of the same year, Wuxing commune was established; in December of the same year, kaibian commune was renamed.
In December 1983, it was changed into Bian township.
In October 2002, the township was removed to build a town.
