Tunzi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Zhenyuan County, connecting Shangxiao Township in the East, Chengguan town in the west, Jingchuan County in the south, Taiping Town and Linjing Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 237 square kilometers.
Before the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, it was called Dafeng Li and later Tunzi; in January 1984, it was changed to Tunzi township; in July 1985, it was removed from township and built into town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Tun Zi town was 52023. In June 2020, Tunzi town governs one community and 20 administrative villages.

History of construction
Before Wanli of Ming Dynasty, it was called Dafeng Li, and later it was renamed Tunzi.
In 1928, it was the Second District of Zhenyuan County.
In 1958, it was changed to Tunzi commune.
In January 1984, it was changed to Tunzi township.
In July 1985, the township was removed to build a town.
In December 2004, Yangou and Jianhua villages in Shuguang Township and Pengyang Township were merged into Tunzi town.
