Nenjiang town
Nenjiang Town, a city of Nenjiang, Heihe, is a resident of the Municipal People's government, located in the southwest of Nenjiang, adjacent to the East and the town of Chang Fu, and the border with the Qianjin town. The West and North are facing the river from the river of the Mori Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In 2018, the area was 279.32 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 125812.
In 1409, the seventh year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, Jiwei was built in Jimu. In 1909, the first district was set up. In 1946, the city was set up. In January 1959, it was changed into Nenjiang town. In August 1981, suburban commune was renamed mergen commune. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 2001, moergan township was merged into Nenjiang town. As of October 2019, Nenjiang town has 15 communities and 5 administrative villages.
