Hedao town
Hedao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Huan County, bordering mubo town and Quzi town in the East, Tianchi Township in the south, Yanwu Township in the southwest, Landao Township in the West and Hudong Township in the north. The administrative area is 516.86 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town was 22846.
In January 1965, Heping commune was merged into Hedao commune. In October 1979, He Ping commune was established. In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In August 2005, Heping township was merged into Hedao township. In January 2016, the township was removed to build a town. As of June 2020, Hedao town has 17 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Hedao town was 4.78 million yuan, an increase of 400000 yuan over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 534000 yuan, an increase of 50% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax is 260000 yuan and enterprise income tax is 330000 yuan. The per capita fiscal revenue was 206 yuan, an increase of 28% over the previous year. In 2011, the total output value of agriculture reached 60 million yuan, a decrease of 2.6% over the previous year. In 2018, Hedao town has 52 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In June 1936, Hedao district was established, which belongs to Quzi county.
In June 1950, it was transferred to Huan County.
In March 1958, the township directly under Hedao was established, and the township directly under Heping was set up at the same time. In October of the same year, Heping was merged into the township directly under Hedao to establish Hedao commune.
In April 1961, He Ping commune was established.
In January 1965, Heping commune was merged into Hedao commune.
In October 1979, He Ping commune was established.
In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In August 2005, Heping township was merged into Hedao township.
In January 2016, the township was removed to build a town.

By the end of 2011, Hedao town had 17 administrative villages: chenqiyuan, Shangxiping, taowazi, Liangping, tangtaizi, hongyawa, zhujiayuan, zhaojiayuan, Xinping, yangpinggou, daluwa, changyaoxian, zhaiziping, shenjialing, Zhaotai, watiangou and Hejiaping, and 99 village groups. The people's government is stationed in hongyawa village.
As of June 2020, Hedao town has 17 administrative villages: hongyawa village, Chenqi village, Shangxiping village, taowazi village, Liangping village, zhujiayuan village, Zhaoyuan village, Xinping village, yangpinggou village, tangtaizi village, daluwa village, changyaoxian village, zhaiziping village, Zhaotai village, watiangou village, Heping Village and Shenling village.

Hedao town is located in the gully area of the residual tableland of the Loess Plateau. It has many gullies, high in the north and low in the south, high in the West and low in the East, with an average altitude of 1263 meters. The highest point in the territory is qingcaoshan in Hejiaping village, with an altitude of 1356 meters; the lowest point is yanggoumen in taowazi village, with an altitude of 1170 meters.
