Chijin town
Chijin Town, subordinate to Yumen City, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Yumen City, facing Jiayuguan across Qingquan in the East, Laojunmiao town in the south, Changma Township in the west, and Huahai town in the north. The administrative area is 188.28 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in the town of Jin Jin was 12854. As of October 2019, Chijin has one community and eight administrative villages.

History of construction
In the Western Han Dynasty, Yumen county was established.
In Tang Dynasty, Yumen army was set up.
In the Ming Dynasty, Chijin (Jin) was set up as the Mongolian Institute and later promoted to Wei.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was chijinwei, Yumen County, governing today's Yumen town.
In 1915, it was Chijin district.
Eighteen years of the Republic of China (1929), for the second district (now Chijin Town, Qingquan township), jurisdiction of 7 villages.
In 1943, Chijin township was set up as Huimin District, which has jurisdiction over Jingquan, Xinmin, Chixia, Jinwei, Jianshe and Heping townships.
In October 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Jingquan township was merged into Xinmin Township, Jinwei Township into Chixia Township, and Heping Township into Jianshe township.
In March 1958, it was adjusted to Chijin (Xinmin and Jianshe Township merged) and Chixia township.
In September 1958, the red flag commune was established.
In November 1958, it was renamed Chijin commune.
In April 1965, the three brigades of Yuejin, Huoshaogou and Baiyanghe were divided into Qingquan commune and Chijin commune.
In April 1966, Chaoyang, nursery and forest farm were added.
In January 1977, Jiandong village was built.
In August 1980, it was renamed Chijin township.
In June 1985, the township was removed to build a town, and the town was in charge of the village.

In November 1958, Chijin town governed 11 brigades including Heping, yingxihu (Xicun), Xinguang, Xinmin, Xinfeng, Chixia, tianjinwei, Yuejin, Huoshaogou and Baiyanghe.
In April 1965, Chijin town governed 10 brigades including Xihu, Yingtian, Heping, Donghu, Xinmin, Xinfeng, Xinguang, Qianfeng, Chixia and Tianjin Wei.
In June 1985, Chijin town governed Heping, Yingtian, Xihu, Donghu, Dongsha, Chaoyang, Miaopu, Xinmin, Xinguang, Xinfeng, Qianfeng, Chixia, Tianjin wei13 village and 73 village groups.
In October 2003, Chijin town and village were merged. Miaopu village was merged into Chaoyang village. Xinguang and Xinmin villages were merged into Guangming Village. Qianfeng village was merged into Xinfeng village. Chixia and Tianjin Wei 2 villages were merged into Jinxia village. Dongsha village was merged into Donghu village.
By the end of 2011, Chijin town had one community and eight administrative villages: Tieren Road, Guangming, Heping (later changed to Tieren Village), Xihu, Yingtian, Xinfeng, Chaoyang, Donghu and Jinxia, and 32 villager groups.
As of October 2019, Chijin has one community and eight administrative villages: tierenlu community, tierencun, Yingtian village, Donghu village, Chaoyang village, Jinxia village, Xinfeng village, Guangming Village and Xihu village.
