Siqiao Township
Siqiao Township, belonging to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Jingning County, bordering Liancai Town, Longde County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the East, Gucheng Township in the south, Chengguan town and Chengchuan Township in the west, Bali Town in the north, and 6km away from Jingning County. The total administrative area is 68 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence in Si Qiao township was 14009.
Siqiao township is named after sijiaqiao village. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the territory was divided into two townships: dannian and Yinping. In August 1949, it belonged to the first district (Chengguan). In June 1962, it moved to xijiawan village and renamed Siqiao commune. In November 1983, it was changed to Siqiao township. As of June 2020, Siqiao rural area has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages.
