Xiamen Hui nationality township

Xiamen Hui nationality township is located in the southern mountainous area of Kongtong District, Pingliang City, Gansu Province. It is adjacent to Shangyang Hui nationality township and Dazhai Hui nationality township in the East, Huating County in the south, Kongtong town and Mawu Township in the West and Liuhu town in the north. The administrative area of the township is 209 square kilometers.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Wu'an District of Pingliang county. In 1950, Xiamen commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into Xiamen Hui nationality township. In 2004, machuan township was incorporated. By the end of 2018, 22362 people had registered residence in the Hui nationality township. As of June 2020, Xiamen Hui Township has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, there were 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Xiamen Hui Township.
