Baiyin Mongolian Township, under the jurisdiction of Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, the lower reaches of Liyuan River, facing MATI Tibetan Township across Heihe River in the East, Kangle Township in the south, Dahe Township in the west, nijiaying Township in Linze County and ganjun town in Ganzhou District in the north. It covers an area of 450.001 square kilometers. In 2018, the population of the silver Mongolian Township registered residence was 652.
After 1949, Baiyin township was established, belonging to the 11th district of Zhangye county. In 1970, it was renamed Baiyin commune. In September 1985, Baiyin Mongolian township was established. In 2004, when the administrative division of the Autonomous County was adjusted, it was retained as a Mongolian Township and an overseas Chinese township. As of June 2020, Baiyin Mongolian township has jurisdiction over three administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Baiyin village.
