Laiduo township is governed by NIMA county. Laiduo township was established in 1962, the commune was changed in 1972, the township was rebuilt in 1981, and the original laiduo Township and nanlaiduo Township were merged to build laiduo Township in 1988.

Laiduo township is located in the south of the county. The township government is located in Dongze, 242 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 5000 square kilometers and has a population of 22.46 million. It has jurisdiction over six village committees: Xingda, Tuona, duokangba, Wugu, Dongze and sinaqiang.
